I would say definitely after 36 weeks, but honestly you should be able to reach him at all times while pregnant unless you have someone else close by you can contact if you can’t reach him.
At least 36 weeks and beyond. My expectations were: I won’t call unless I think it’s real and you are required to Answer the phone. I cares since for Braxton hicks and once for the real deal
In Iphone there is a way to add a contact to have emergency bypass privilege - google it
This way even on silent he should get your texts or calls
My husband is on emergency by pass, i always get an alert tone for all his text/calls

If he has an iPhone, there’s a setting that allows him to exclude certain contacts from his “do not disturb” status. Worth looking into.
He's putting it on silent, not DND. So if he's busy with something and isn't actively checking his phone, he just doesn't see it until later.
does he have an apple watch ? personally i went 40+4 so i dont have a suggestion on timing
Generally all the time. Even after baby, why would there be hours in the day where a parent is completely inaccessible in the event of an emergency?
Oh, got it… those 2 year olds are difficult. I’d agree with the other posters about making it so that you are someone who can always get through on his phone settings. And good luck - just had my second and also have a 2 YO, it’s a bit chaotic but so lovely.
