Is coinbase remote or in office?
Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Thats big 4. Not everything is big 4 insanity
60+ hours each week during busy season 2021 in Audit for a non big 4 firm in Arkansas. I was on maternity leave during 2019 busy season and 2020 busy season was WEIRD because of COVID lockdowns and client information dried up. I also have another busy season for EBP audits from June-October but I don't work more than 45 hours a week but it's just busy busy!
I’m in AWM, so I’m put on year end after year end. This last year my busy season went through June. Had a bit of a break. Late August started back up. I refuse to work more than 55 my body cannot do it. Fully remote.
Yup this is why AWM/FSO suckss for audit. You are on year end after year end.. constant busy season
October to May. 55-100 lol. FSO ate my ass.
Bay Area B4 audit is a non-stop beating all year with off calendar year ends, transactions, and startups.
Man get out of there. The grass is definitely greener in industry in the Bay Area
Audit around 55 in January then 65 feb and 75 in March. Depends on your client and team size
Rising Star
Thankfully Im not in audit anymore (praise Jesus), but my busy season was typically Jan to early April. If you got unlucky you could have another one in july, but since most clients are 12/31) it will be jan-april. Typical weeks were 65+ hours with more as issuance date approached. This year we were all remote so cant speak on current peopl.
October-April. Remote. Between 55-75
Feb - April, 55-65 hrs a week

Financial services as S1 my busy season was from January until end of May (60hours + a week). Very exhausting. I was also busy during Nov-Dec (50-55hrs). FML.
I’m in consulting now and my utilization rate dropped. Much better hours !
Tax SME helping the audit team … 65-80 hours during audit busy season (as we have our non-audit clients too). Early Jan - early May

Jan to April, mostly 55hrs but due to various client delays had a couple 80hr weeks.
Jan April 60-80 hours note multiple clients prob is a factor for me.
For those that say 60-80 hrs/week. Is that just the time you charge/bill on your timesheet, or the total time you work?
For me it’s I work 80 and bill 80. Like I said, rest of the year is really relaxed so managers and partners get we need to bill every second in busy season to meet our metrics.

New to Big 4 and surprised at the answers here.
The hours are more or less the same as my last mid tier firm (top 15). Busy season was between 55-70 hours January through April there.
What are your total hour requirements for a year? Chargeable and total worked?
Jan - Feb 65-80 (charge 55) & May - June 55-65 (charge 45). I left a few months ago though 😅
Jan to April 60-80 hours. FML rest of the year is chill
feb-april, aug-oct 50 hours full remote
70-80 for 6 weeks in October-November. One large client year round, though, so the rest of the year is a breeze.
TTT, work is project based so you could be in "busy season" mode all year long. Working 60-80 hrs/wk is a norm around deadlines.
