Has anyone ever posted a general marketing position? We have an open position on our marketing team but we are unsure what type of position to offer. We have a wide variety of needs but don’t necessarily need to have this future person have all these skills. For example we need someone with great copywriting skills and also need someone who is great at digital marketing. Big tech or consulting? Which do you prefer as a career and why? I realize this is really general. I’m interviewing with Accenture and Amazon and the opportunities and career trajectory or so wildly different. This would be my entrance into consulting and concerned that if I wait too long, consulting would be a pay cut without prior consulting experience. It’s already looking like a financially lateral move but high potential. Vs tech is a big jump financially but different career direction.
