Wanted to know your experience of applying for jobs abroad. For those who converted and joined abroad, did you apply for jobs on LinkedIn? Which platform would be the best for a senior data scientist in India. Also I get 30 lpa now, is it worth going abroad? Can we save more?

What are your thoughts about putting an explanation for the current gap (as in, I haven’t been working for several months) on your resume, LinkedIn profile or cover letter? If you think it should be included in one of these places, how would you do it?

I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. I know the thought process and stuff but 'I' wasn't the one who did that part in the project. How to convince them that I could do the job without taking credit of others.

One of my closest friends have become so incredibly negative and self obsessed with her petty problems lately. I feel like all I do everyday is listen to her whine and complain! Im a rising junior and finding a lot about recruiting process lately and I applied for few internships as well. I heard people say to practice 25 cases. If so, am I already late? Do you have any advice on how i should manage my time preparing?

Thoughts on hiring a coach for prep? I've never done this before and I don't just want a random practice partner who may or may not know what they're doing.
