Hi Fishes, I have an interview next week for a Client Partnerships Manager role at a large entertainment company. I've never actually done a role like this. The focus would be a client partner for Tech, QSR & Finance clients. Can you all provide any insight or tips into this role whether you've done it or partnered with someone who has. Also, what do you consider the media & marketing process to be? And is QSR mean quick service restaurant. I come from the CPG & sale world. Thanks for any input.
Would anyone be open to providing a referral for Bristol Myers Squibb or ZS Associates? Thank you.
I'm a Microsoft Dynamics and C# Developer at a Big 4 consulting firm. But... working with Dynamics for the last 5 or 6 years is starting to wear on me. The salary is great because there is a shortage of qualified Dynamics developers, but I want to do something else, even if that's just back to being a run of the mill C# Developer. Maybe this is more of a rant or I'm letting off steam, but has anybody on here ever essentially gone from a specialized type of roll to more general role?
Can someone share etheir experience as Microsoft Customer Success Account Manager (CSAM) ? Interviewing for that position and would love to know the day to day or important details. Anyone else struggling with recruiters who do not understand the basics of their role? They keep sending me UX and Copy roles. My resume is Designer to AD to CD. I've told them these don't fit but keep getting them anyway.
I was offered a position at Deloitte for ~26k more than I’m making currently, but they told me that in 2.5 years when the contract is over I will be out of a job. Obviously I’ll be able to network within those two years and probably find something more permanent, so it’s very similar to gig work at BAH. I also just started a new project at BAH last month so I feel uneasy leaving after a month. Can someone at Deloitte give me more insight about PDM work at the company?
Looking for new HR opportunities, either remote (ideally east coast time) or in NC. Please reach out if you know of places hiring or can refer! Have been applying and interviewing, but nothing concrete yet. Would love some help!
Anybody working to exit to something outside of tech? Maybe to a particular industry? Something creative (art, music, etc)? Other? Just curious since we see a lot of tech exit wishes...
Any claims counsel/adjuster for insurance companies here? The company itself reached out to me for this role but not sure if I want to leave firm life just yet, although no billables sound pretty damn enticing. Just want to know more about the role in general, any pros & cons, etc
Best books about product management for a good exit to industry? I already have an MBA and PMP but looking for a refreshed perspective since it’s been years since my formal education. Currently reading “Product Managements Sacred Seven” but it’s geared toward the startup world. I am in healthcare and not looking for a startup role. TIA!!!

Currently working at Deloitte as a Consultant. Just got offered a Senior Data Analyst position within industry. Lots of e-commerce data. Primarily working on visualization (Looker) duties to assist business. $5K more than what I am making now. Do you believe it's worth the jump? Or should I stay put and wait for something better?
I received an offer from one of the MBBs (Analyst position - banking benchmarks team). The offer briefly mentions that I'd receive performance bonus, but doesnt mention any range (% bracket). Nor does the compensation structure has any component of Performance Bonus (which is usually a part of TC) Should I ask the recruiter on this? What to do? Thanks in advance!
I have 3 years experience in performance testing. Looking to switch to new company, request you to let me know if there are any openings. Preferred location - bangalore

A consideration in any early promotion should be anonymous feedback from those directly under that person. How any firm thinks a person should move up early without considering if the people they lead think positively of them is odd
Thoughts on Grey NY health teams (I know everyone has mixed feelings on pharma in general) specifically the account departments?

When you have a manager so bad, you and everyone under them quit, and HR questions the team about “leadership culture”, but they still get promoted to SM -_-

Does compensation vary based on whether you are firm sponsored for your MBA or not? Does the number of years prior to your MBA matter or does every MBA hire come in at the same rate?
Should I get a job offer before applying to day 1 CPT or apply for the visa first and then start looking for jobs?
So is CR really worth it? Trying to understand the real benefit since we all make a ton of airline and hotel points - trading off the $300 in travel credit vs $450 in fees
What's y'all's best way to get from LGA to Manhattan (Times Sq specifically)? For work, but I've heard lga is a shit show to leave. I guess any tips from TS to JFK as well, flying out from there.
Flying from client (chargeable project) to another city for BD work. Do you charge the project as part of round trip or BD? Scenario is home-> client -> BD -> home. Thanks!
Does anyone have experience of getting work visa in London or Amsterdam? Any advice would be helpful.
In a world of remote consulting work…. How long can the US maintain its high premium over European and, esp. developing market consulting? Both price tag to clients and significantly higher salaries for the people. I imagine may move faster at Big 4, etc. than MBB, but within MBB the huge cost and salary differentials feel… increasingly hard to maintain (even though I think the differential has actually gotten bigger, not smaller in the last two years). Thoughts?
