We flat fee most plans. 3500 for an individual plan, 5k for a joint plan. Rates are likely increasing in the new year.

What is the cost of living in your area if you don’t mind sharing?

2k and up for an individual- married- usually 3k and up. All depends on what the clients want me to put together. I try to stick to a flat fee but for the clients with complicated estates- I just bill hourly- otherwise likely to lose on the flat fee.

$4000 - $5000 in SF Bay Area

For an individual or couple?

Do NOT claim you are "colorblind" in the workplace. 1. DE&I knowledge is now a core leadership competency. You do NOT want to be painted as an intellectually dishonest leader. 3. Colorblind claims signal that you lack the leadership skills & vocabulary to have key conversations. Additional Posts in Estate Planning Attorneys

Any attorneys in the Bay Area practicing just in estate planning (not litigation), can you give your take on whether you would get enough business to do only planning? I'm currently doing family law and I want to start moving away from litigation. For family law there really isn't a non litigation role that produces enough business (i.e. mediation). I do okay, but definitely have to take on more litigation than I prefer. I was thinking estate planning might be a good addition to the mix.
