I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? I’m pretty good at Salesforce and have thought about a SFDC admin type role, but that’s all I’ve thought of so far.

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. Any attorneys in the Bay Area practicing just in estate planning (not litigation), can you give your take on whether you would get enough business to do only planning? I'm currently doing family law and I want to start moving away from litigation. For family law there really isn't a non litigation role that produces enough business (i.e. mediation). I do okay, but definitely have to take on more litigation than I prefer. I was thinking estate planning might be a good addition to the mix.

I am wondering which drafting software everyone uses or likes. For years I have used WealthCounsel and more recently ElderCounsel, but I find them too expensive. I also do a good number of Special Needs Trusts as part of my practice. Any advice on a more reasonably priced drafting software?

What type of binding do you prefer/use for original estate planning documents (Wills, Trust Agreements, and Powers of Attorney)? I have seen everything from a staple (with and without a blue back), 3-prong folders, and just a binder clip.
