I have received offer from Qualcomm. They haven't mentioned about relocation bonus or accommodation in the offer letter. I have tried reaching the hr since the next day of hr round but they haven't responded to my calls or mails. Any advice on how to get accommodation and relocation bonus. Or is it not possible anymore? FYI I'm in city x and the offered position is in city y of another state.
Update :

Hyderabad
Hyderabad
Bangalore
I think Hyderabad is being developed in a more planned way while Bangalore has become very unorganised. And with govt investigating heavily in infrastructure, the future prospect looks much better for Hyderabad. Also, all high paying product companies have a bigger footprint in Hyderabad. But, yes, currently Bangalore has more job opportunities but it should soon go behind Hyderabad looking at the development
Infrastructure wise Hyderabad is better as Bangalore infra is not able to sustain its population.
Opportunity wise, Bangalore is miles ahead of Hyderabad. Bangalore has so many high paying unicorns and MNCs. Hyderabad can't even compete in that.
The talk about companies shifting from Bangalore to Hyderabad has been going on for 10+ years now. I honestly don't think it's happening anytime soon purely because Bangalore has much larger pool of good tech folks and has better startup culture.
Secondly, having already worked at Microsoft, all those big techs with their huge office spaces doesn't really appeal me. I prefer working at Unicorns & startups which provide high pace work with much better pay. I might consider switching to those places when I plan to retire but as of now I would personally be tilted more in favor of Bangalore rather than Hyderabad.
