Hi Sharks, I need help. I have approx 10 yoe in DWBI, ETL, AWS, Python, SQL. I need to switch. WLB is my priority. Due to current work hours from 10 am to 10 pm and some time 11 pm and 12 pm I am not able to give time to my wife, my kid, myself , my health. I used to call my parents every night and talk to them for 45-50 minutes. Now I get to talk to them for 5-10 min and some days not even this. Due to this I am not even able to fully concentrate on work. I am feeling very low. Pls suggest.

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

Has anyone ever done aggression training for their dog? Met with a trainer who basically wants us to either keep our dog crated or on a leash at all times and said no pets or play time for now. Our dog has been acting out ever since we brought home our newborn and also bit our groomer. Trainer has me terrified that the dog will hurt the baby but my heart is breaking that I can’t give any “love” to my dog right now. Any similar experiences or thoughts?
