Been out of work and job hunting for 4 months straight. No end in sight. I have 13 years experience in digital strategy and delivery and an MBA. 2 months runway till I won't be able to afford my mortgage. Anybody else feeling the pressures in this job market? Would love to know I'm not alone out there.

I have been in your shoes. It's so discouraging. I really was so frustrated over the lack of offers even though I was trying so hard. Just when I thought I was ready to give up, a great job came along. I'm grateful I didn't throw in the towel. Don't give up. Even if you take a job in the same field but not in the role that you wanted, at least you will have your foot in the door. Best of luck to you.

You are not alone! My husband and I are just coming out of a season just like that. We had to get some extra side hustles along the way (which can also be hard to get!). Keep applying! You will find the right job for you.

Post your resume

Tough market, digital strategy and transformation work are much higher on the hierarchy of needs for most companies that are fearful of a recession.

Can you retool your resume and search for something like a Project Manager or BA, something to fill the gap until the market settles?

Perhaps look into side paid gigs you can do, through Upwork or other platforms?
