Being in sales for as long as you have, what do you think the biggest lesson about human behaviour/psychology you've learned is? I'm about to enter my 10th year in sales and spent the last few as a coach, and it has honestly been such a journey. My biggest takeaway would be that humans tend to gravitate towards someone who believes in something strongly. So if you can show them you believe in something, they're most likely to believe in it too.

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote. Then sit here and can’t figure out why…
