Bench terrifies me. Have been on bench for 6 months now, and despite trying, not getting staffed. Very concerned about layoff nowadays. What are some good places to start creating back up plans (aka jobs with sponsor)

Sorry for the long rant, but could use advice or just encouragement.

Got laid off for the first time in my career 3 weeks ago. I have 10 years of PM experience (mostly ecommerce & experimentation). I was fortunate in the past to have had recruiters scout me directly so this is the first time in over a decade that I am applying to everything that I’m qualified for, mostly qualified for, and way over qualified for with zero leads. Only 3 interviews thus far that didn’t go forward.

Has anyone successfully sold your gently used clothing for cash on the spot anywhere in Chicagoland? If yes, where? Have a lot of nice stuff that I’m bored of but Poshmark takes too much effort for me and I find consignment stores usually take months until anything sells and then getting your money is a pain. Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes.
