It depends on the airlines and airports you fly on/out of
If you want a card that could give you credits back if you fully utilize the benefits, then go with Amex Plat, Sapphire Reserve, or Venture X. Amex has the most extensive lounge network but it's lacking at IAD where the other two has great options.
Otherwise, go with any of the airline cards that come with lounge access if you particularly fly on a specific airline
VentureX is a great personal card with 2x everything, 5x flights, and 10x hotels/cars. Gets you lounge access too. Check DM for referral
Are you loyal to a specific airline? How often do you travel for work?
You should consider aiming for status with a foreign partner airline to get domestic lounge access for free.
Wouldn’t each trip have two lounge visits so 14-16 visits for 1-3 people could be as many as 48 lounge visits for the annual United card fee.
United card if you home airport has a nice lounge. It admits up to 3 people to United lounges.
I have United Club Mileageplus
Amex. If you have the corporate card amex you get 150$ off the annual fee and the credits pay themself
