I suppose Kamala Harris lost because just didn’t talk about her accomplishments.
Just actually believe you’re better than everyone else and it comes easy
Don’t brag about yourself. Nobody likes that. You want to be confident and passionate about yourself and your work.
Develop an elevator speech and maintain a professional journal documenting what you think you did well and areas of improvement. Note your progression on the areas of improvement.
Honestly, I find this is the use case for Gemini and chat gpt. Feed your resume into it and tell it to brag about you

It’s easy to brag about yourself. It’s much harder to highlight your worth to someone and not come out as narcissistic pos. Assuming the context here is interviews or getting visibility for work you are doing
For getting visibility, build relationships with key players and stakeholders. Have cadence with them to make them aware of what you are doing. Have your backers do the same for you with influential leaders. For interviews, create a pitch and run it by others. I would actually record it and hear it and be a judge yourself.
It’s a skill , and recognize it’s a skill.
I would recommend finding a second year hire and or new manager at Deloitte and just mimicking their behavior but I kid, I kid 😂😂😂😂
Step 1, don't brag about yourself - there's a big difference between backing yourself and having confidence vs bragging.
I made my team deliver presentations on something they're good at to get them practising this, and had a (figurative) 'swear jar' for any time they undermined themselves - loser was responsible for getting the sweet treats in for next team meeting. Like all things, it's just about practise!
