Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!

IMO, you have to consider the bonus through the lens of total compensation. A bigger bonus at other firms, may come with less base salary. A lot of firms offer higher bonuses to make up for low compensation through the year. Other benefits have to be considered too. E.g., I got a 5k bonus but also had my expense account allowance doubled. Don’t be short sighted about the value of the bonus. Look at your total comp and then decide if other firms are still paying “double for less hours.”
Good advice from A1. My base salary is $80k, but my bonuses during 2020 totaled $30k. Definitely a way to make up for lower salary (but decent benefits).
What is your salary?
You do know you should be being paid $255k + $50k to 70k bonus as a 4th year with those hours right?
