Bonus. I am a 4th year Associate in a smaller firm (15 attorneys) located in a major city. In 2020, I billed 100 hours over my annual requirement (1,900) and brought on new clients as OA. I received positive feedback in my last review. I was told my bonus is to be $6k. I am grateful to recieve a bonus but I am frustrated with the amount, other firms in my area give out double that w/ lower hours. Discuss this with my mentor partner? Or just let things be to avoid upsetting the partners?

How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.

I have observed that people on testing domain or frontend are getting better pay than other new tech domains like blockchain, cyber security, data sci etc(4-11yr exp) .
For less than 4 years experience new tech job gettig good pay but others getting very less.

In dev job Java, spring r etc getting better pay. Also some SAP consultant are also get paid high.
Is exp people in testing/frontend dev are less due to which they getting better pay than others with experience.
