I don’t know any state that allows someone with a bachelor’s degree to work as a therapist or counselor. Maybe Ohio is different, but where I live you need a masters.
no, not typically. They can't refer to themselves as therapists and unlicensed masters level shouldn't either
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't be an LSW with a bachelor's degree. I suppose it depends on the state, but in my state, there is no LSW that doesn't have a master level degree.
In TN you can be a LBSW.
It’s not that but most insurance payors require advanced licensure for billing purposes. Often am LSW can work under an LISW but nowadays with cuts employers feel why hire two different licensees when we only need one. Try case mgr or State jobs or get your masters and independent license.
