Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but Iâm not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) Whatâs the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

Do you have a buyers agent? The selling agent should at least let you know the offer wasnât accepted.
Probably. Iâm guessing the selling agent updated the MLS before notifying the other buyers. Not very professional but happens a a lot.

Also, can you share details on your offer? What was the list price, what terms did you offer, etc.? I can provide some perspective on where you may have fallen short.

For states that have both DD and Earnest, weâve seen most people flip heavily to the DD side since that is non-refundable. Agreed Earnest may have been a little light in this situation. Even just 3 years ago, 1% total DD/EMD was common, but now weâre seeing close to 10% in some situations. It wonât always be a sellers market and weâll see those numbers go back down.
Selling agent probably updated on MLS before notifying your agent. Agent will likely tell you the next day
