Would have to be a discussion. We had fully remote workers and then we had people change to fully remote due to personal reasons. Worth a shot to ask. If you don’t ask the answer is always a no. If you ask you have a 50/50 shot 🤷🏻♂️
I’m 100% remote, originally because I was too far from the office I was assigned to. Now that I’ve moved, I’m remote because my team isn’t located in my new office, so no real reason for me to be in the office in terms of work. A few others I know are remote for the first reason as well.
They've been pushing 3+ days a week for some time now. Not sure if remote is an option for new hires or not but I doubt it.
Depends on your role and team. I am 100% remote.
it’s totally up to you - but really depends on leadership in the office you’re closest to
Rising Star
I interviewed for a group there who was essentially fully remote except for occasional in-person meetings, said they had no intention of forcing a return mandate because everyone is so spread out.
We’re 100% remote in a couple offices
When I worked there I started fully remote then they we’re requiring 2+ day a week in office
We still have virtual employees but not every team so it depends on your position.
Depends on your role in the firm. We have thousands of people who aren’t client facing that do not go to the office. Not sure about client facing but I’ve not read about mandates.
RSM rarely uses the word mandate. It’s often a suggestion
It’s a suggestion until your pay or promotion are affected and no one tells you that in advance. Or, you get laid off because nobody knows who you are. It’s a suggestion, but coaching is required for someone to understand that Owning My Future includes building a career through making connections and enduring relationships, internally and externally.
I’m 100% remote but have been feeling the pressure to return to office. I am not sure the leadership supports FT Remote anymore.
