A three month deadline will get you nowhere close to a successful job conversion but will definitely boost your morale about learning something that pays well in the market. DevOps tools are vast, but with the right approach and consistency you can get through a great offer.
I'd suggest brush up on basic Linux skills, network trouble shooting and shell scripting. Once you have a command over shell scripting since you're already a developer, I'd suggest to go through working with python on the linux OS level. This will add automation skills to your resume.
If you have the above, start with AWS fundamentals, with knowledge of python play with AWS boto libraries to spin up services and play around. This will give you confidence on the AWS services. Congratulations, you are now a CloudOps engineer.
Parallelly, learn one of the CICD tools , preferably Jenkins, it's easy to learn (you can then add other CICD tools as you progress further)
Now comes the part where you decide if you want to play with Infrastructure pipelines ( platform engineer) or SDLC pipelines (DevOps engineer).
DM me when you decide and I'll give you a few pointers on how you can proceed further as this is where the actual journey begins.
p.s. this is my own opinion and approach. Add your comments if you disagree and we can discuss, just be positive.
And Cheers to you mate. I wish you good luck
GitLab, Github Action, tekton Harness all are growing pretty quickly, always good to have tooling experience at your disposal, but remember theses are just tools, the most important part is understanding what you would use it with.
