^ I am sorry, but this looks like your typical consultant BS and a very lame attempt to subtly cover it up.
Fam, why would you come here asking about a role you have no clue about instead of looking it up?
Look up SDLC and be able to speak thoroughly about it, especially in regards to software. Likelihood of you getting a PM job and not having any experience or better yet how to make your experience fit into their expectations of that role isn’t high.
Good luck
Sure. You will likely manage a product, often productize with the rest of the team, and most likely get producted out of Amazon
Role is not for you. Keep it moving
I’m really not tryna be an ass, cause I get it OP. But this role and interview can’t be bs’d if you have no experience or know what it is or how to finesse. Like it’s not that simple.
There’s no typical day to day (just like consulting) it’s whatever needs to be done to get the product done, fill in the gaps or getting everything ready for the next sprint/iteration.
This is very far from being a project manager. And folk familiar with Agile will be able to tell if you can’t differentiate the two. As well as being different than a Product Owner (yeah I know, weird)
And honestly...also things you probably should’ve researched before applying. Also pretty damn easy to look up these days
People are jerks lol 😆
Honestly if you don't even know what a role is, much less know how you're qualified to fill it, why would you apply for it?
I know what I applied for and what I want from the role. I just wanted to ask real day to day activities that a product manager performs to get a real time idea which can help me prepare better for the interview.
