How much tax will be deducted on 18lpa fixed salary (1746800 in hand after epf deduction)? Even after investing 1.5 lacs in 80c.

Hi All. I moved to a new company , I just got my take home salary and my current pay is less that previous pay ,because of different state and other taxes. My new company is better but the pay is demotivating me . It is almost $500 less per biweekly pay check . What to do get out of the demotivation? I wouldn't have minded the same pay , but $1000 less /month is a lot !

I work 2 part-time jobs. I just requested a pay raise at my ABA job which they approved on by 10%. My other job is in Mental Health has a flat rate with no chance to request a raise, turns out I'm not required to work the full 20hrs/Week meaning that when there's no work to complete I won't be getting paid. I recently joined HCL from Dell as Associate consultant E3.1 for AI/ML ROLE. I have total of 8.5 years of experience. I accepted offer for 36 lakhs.
I see there are people with roles such as Consultant and Sr.Consultant with the same experience as mine.
I regret now that I haven't asked for Consultant role.

I have submitted the documents for LTI..before an formal HR call one lady HR called me and ask for expected CTC..i have one offer in hand and i demand 20% of that offer as fixed..she asked me to negotiate and so i went for 20% of offer as total CTC instead of fixed..she simply said OK thats it..and call ended..will I get positive note from them....?
