My probation was supposed to be of 6 months (i.e until June 2022), but today I received a notification in Workday that I have passed my probation.
How is this possible?
I was planning to resign within probation for 30days notice period. But now this happened. Will this change my notice period to 90days??

Just a few things:
1. Handling smaller scale productions with minimal oversight. Could be banners, a social shoot—anything. But carrying from brief to delivery is big.
2. Working effectively with creatives (production and strategy also important). But showing the ability to work alongside them and gain their trust. Be smart and speak confidently to the work with them and to clients.
3. Showing strategic chops. Could be as part of a brief, could be strong competitive insights. An AE can see the week ahead, the Sup should see the month. Can you start seeing that?
4. Managing juniors. Do you have an AAE on the team?
Hope this all helps.
Would also add- proactively knows the steps to take and people to engage when requests come in. Doesn’t need to be asked to handle something, is already thinking about it and has it underway.
Has a solid relationship with clients. Might be the more junior level, but has built trust, clients will reach out to you directly for smaller needs.
Ask for the AS job description and compare it to AE. See how much you’re already doing and where you need to focus and grow over the next year.
In the industry for almost 5. I’d like to start looking for AS positions in a year or so, and would appreciate anyone’s feedback
AD 1 - this is very helpful, thank you!
Any chance I can DM you?
Sure sure. DM away. Wasn’t even aware you could do that on here, heh.
Fake it until you make it. And read “Good to Great” if you’ve never managed ppl (that’s typically a major difference).
Does TBWA have SAE? I’d expect to be there at 3 years as AE and AS within 2 after that
