I don’t know about y’all but I’m getting SICK of seeing black public figures (rappers, in this case) be killed by gun violence and the culture collectively shrugging their shoulders.

If Justin Bieber got shot at a bowling alley gun control would be the topic of conversation for months.

Why is it that when we’re sick, we go to a doctor, when we are in legal trouble, we turn to a lawyer, when we need help building a house, we turn to advice from an architect, but when it comes to deen we think we are the experts and not the scholars who’ve spent their life studying theology and Islam. Such hypocrisy

Does anyone work for Children’s medical center of Dallas on this form ? I know we recently had a “employee appreciation” bonus last month before Thanksgiving but not sure if that counts as one whole holiday bonus including Christmas , or it it’s safe to expect another in mid December ? What seems to be the latter in the past ? Any thoughts are appreciated !

Struggling with whether I bring up my issues to HR. I suffer from horrible insomnia and diagnosed with delayed sleep phase, so these 8am stand ups are brutal. And usually pointless. Also my depression and anxiety are at an all time high. Thank God we are remote because I'm barely functioning and hardly able to work half the time. What can HR do in this situation if anything?
