Yeah, this is work that gives voice to the company’s no bs approach to making nutrition bars. Smart, and miles ahead of showing almonds and honey being swirled up or an organic farmer walking through the woods. This work has personality.
Came here to say exactly that, how easy it would have been for a bad agency or a bad client to show another boring photo or footage of ingredients being poured. This is very much everything this brand stands for and I salute it
Really?! I think they’re great. Made me laugh. Confident and simple. A very hard thing to achieve in this day and age.
@OP the craft is all in the minimalism and reductiveness. And they’re very funny. Not sure what you’re not getting. Definitely feels fresh and new, too. All these things are v hard to achieve nowadays. So, yeah, it’s a good WK campaign...no question.
You're too junior to get it. Keep learning, kid.
I live in Carroll gardens and saw some print work. I happen to think it's lovely and well designed.
Or has anti-advertising advertising finally gone too far?
@ Jr. Copywriter OP My point was that a) you’re obviously wrong about how the advertising would make the consumer feel about the product just by looking at their sales because this is the tonality they have had since their inception b) in reality, the opinions of ad people who have no background in the creation of this campaign or as part of the marketing team dissecting the work in the manner of armchair academics don’t matter. I just found it laughable. If you want my opinion on the ads. They fall perfectly in line with nature of this brands persona and tonality. But again, it doesn’t matter. You’d be better off trying to understand why you have such animosity or negative feelings toward Wieden&Kennedy, RxBar or this type of advertising. Seriously, you’re a junior, you should be wanting to do work that is this different. You should want to learn how to sell an idea through that scares people or even polarized certain consumers against the brand. Remember, ads that try to appeal to everyone actually appeal to no one. Be jealous of how good W&K is at what they do rather than shitting on their work. Good luck to you.
I think you’re missing something
Seems like there’s a load of varying executions. I like it. Better than 99% of the junk out there. I wish I’d made it. What you been making then, OP?
It's also a great Droga campaign 😁
Not trash, but yeah, lazy.

@huge do you have any insight to share on the ads?
This is just the I Wanna Sprite that W+K did less than two years ago. Right down the “Or not.” It’s the “I won’t tell you drink a Sprite."
I like them better than most things.
I think we all just miss good advertising, so even this appeals to us.
Sorry but they're not good. It's lazy and it's stealing.
Absolutely disagree. It’s a great campaign. The outdoor work is also very good.
Ok, so you don’t like that one execution. But there are many others. I laughed out loud at quite a few of them. It’s good.
Clearly I’m missing something, just like how this line misses the mark on no B.S.
“Buy a chocolate sea salt RXBar. Or not”
It’s purely apathetic. And if that’s how the brand feels towards themselves, than that’s how I’ll feel towards them. Rant over.
