I am an associate at an AM200 firm and was (IMO) very clear prior to accepting this role that I value work-life balance and wanted to try to keep work at night on the weekends to a minimal, but since February, it seems like it’s always something that requires my time as needed disregarding “business hours” or my personal schedule. Thoughts on whether to bring this up or continue to be a team player until I burn out and pay off my student loans?

I just defended my first depo and I feel like I did a terrible job. The questions and answers were so fast I feel like I didn’t even have a chance to think what objection was appropriate. Any resources for learning objections better. Or tricks on how to tell when a question being asked is not good?

I have been interviewing for a job. I think I will get an offer. On paper everything is great. ~30k more than I’m making now, plus larger bonus and more profit sharing. Everyone seemed nice.
