McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasnāt done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

Reach out to Recruiter on Thurs next week if you havenāt heard anything. They are usually pretty good ā I believe I received my offer about a week after my interview, but our recruiting team is currently pretty understaffed so donāt look into it too much until you hear from them.
Also thereās a bunch of cynical fish on here. I love Capco and have loved it for the past year. Iām thrilled that Iām here and I think youāll love it. :)
Possible that youāre being pipelined for a potential RFP opportunity and they are waiting for a result, or to see if there are alternate opportunities for you if the RFP doesnāt win
Capco: I had my final interview this Monday for the role of Senior React Developer with one of Capco partners, I got message from my recruiter that he got positive feedback and he is working on formal update. I haven't heard anything after that. Does anyone know how much they usually take to give you offer?
also said i had really positive feedback from my interviews and said he would send over the benefits package to take a look (never did); any difference in timeline for offer vs reject?

ah, he explained it as basically fitting my profile and skills with available/upcoming projects, which iāve heard is a sort of formality at other consultancies. (e.g. saw some EY fish post about hiring biz cases) thank you though!
Thanks for the responses :) im assuming recruiter would come with a verbal offer first before generating a written offer? or does it depend?
