Assume I’m not successful and I were to go for a one-year MBA starting in the fall, will I get an interview even if I don’t do the GMAT? I heard MBBs like the GMAT for MBA candidates, but if I can get the interview without the MBA, will the gmat make a difference while I’m in the MBA?

How do people get interview call from Accenture Strategy & Consulting? I am an MBA from tier 2, 5 YoE post MBA in Financial Risk. Currently working with a Big 4.

Is CMA worth getting after getting the CPA? Or is it better to get the CFA. Also don’t have much finance background so I don’t know if I can pass the CFA will require a lot of hard work. Interesting in hearing people’s thoughts.

I have no plans in leaving PA anytime soon but I figure maybe I should look into another certification that holds value and makes me more marketable compared to my peers. Appreciate any thoughts and advice.

Quarterly quota (per quarter): 107k
Quarterly bonus (per annum): 23k
130% Annual bonus = 11.5k
"23% commission on quota minus base": 37k (don't understand this)
"Proposed 23% commission on 150% quota minus base": 86.5k
Sales commission threshold per month: 22k
OTE: 122k
Cost/Sales: 28%

That base salary is lower than my previous base by a significant amount by 32.7%

What is the average salary for 9+ years experience at C1 at Capgemini?

When I was hired, I don't recall being informed about my salary being tied to my location. My employment contract also only makes one mention of location, and says "home office" and my state. I was recently told by HR though that if I move, my comp. will be lower. Is this legal? Should I consult a labor lawyer?

In my mind, I don't recall being told this and it's not clear from my employment contract, so I feel like they're breaking our agreement, and it feels unfair.

Can someone please share the current trends in joining/signing on bonus in Asset management industry.

I have an offer from an Asset Manager in London and it is slightly below my expectations. I want to approach them for a joining bonus but was not sure if it is a thing in asset management.

Also what is a good % to ask for a joining bonus [5%, 10% or 15%] of the base salary

Isn’t 100k base pay too little at a boutique asset mgmt firm? 4 yrs buy side experience, started at the same firm straight out of college.

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?

Is the CAIA content worthwhile? Anyone take it and have any insights to offer on. Is the content provided in the education applicable info to their employment?
