Anyone here got their CFP? And how are you making use of it?

Any advice on how to find a CFP? Or any suggestions in the DC area? Parents are thinking about retiring soon and need more advice/guidance than I feel comfortable giving

I’ve only been on the full-service side for the past 2 years and my book of managed money is about $10M, with another $10M+ being self-directed by clients. I’d love to find an RIA job, what type of role would be suggested?

Team Financial Planning Specialist or no?
My team is growing more and more to specializations with investment products. (Insurance, alts, ESG) I’ve been wondering if the Financial Planning role could also be a specialist in our client experience. We have two competing ideas; A financial planning specialist would be able to develop intimate familiarity with the planning software, processes, and human nuances.
