Thinking about accepting a software engineering offer for BCG Digital Ventures . can anyone working there tell me about the work culture, learning opportunities, and exit opps . Im also interviewing with Zillow and am deciding wether to wait or take an offer. I’m really intrigued by the idea of building ventures and learning alot on the technical and entrepreneurial sides, but the opportunity to work for a tech unicorn is also very intriguing

Interviewed at Deloitte, PwC and EY for Advisory Senior Consultant role. Deloitte offered $105K (plus $5K bonus), PWC offered $127K (plus $15K bonus) and EY offered $155K (plus $10K bonus). Surprised with the difference in pay between Deloitte & EY for same role. Is Deloitte Advisory paying less compared to other firms? 4.5YOE in Consulting.

Lol A1 you poor child. OP, the "official" rule at ACN is that we 'have' 🙄 to use our corporate Amex for work related expenses. But literally no one does, our policy is super lax and everyone uses their personal for all expenses except flights. For flights we have to use our internal booking tool and tie it to a WBS. I've racked up some MAAAJOORRRRRRRE points on my chase sapphire the 5 years I've been here.
There's 2 sapphires now: preferred and reserve. Reserve is 3X points but with a $450 annual fee (you get $300 travel credit back, so effectively $150 annual). And preferred is 2X points for $95 annual. Get the reserve if you can.
2x points on all travel, preferred gets you 15% discount on points travel booked through their site...they used to give you a 7% dividend on all spend but they got rid of that. Transfer to united, etc..solid 'consultant' card
Lol no A1
Beerwarrior!? Nice Reddit reference 👍🏼👍🏼😎
If you are sure that you will be flying a certain airline or be at a certain hotel for a long time then getting the specific airline/hotel CC is a better deal in my opinion. It will get you a huge boost of points right upfront if you meet the spend requirement (especially if you are using it for the airline/hotel) - if you don't want to manage it all separately then Chase S is a good way to fo
Nice. Didn't know other firms accepted use of non -Amex. You can use that at Accenture??? At PwC we can only use Amex.
Nope, Amex only
A1 you can use whatever you want. For flights you have to use WBS or Amex, no rules on anything else.
Thanks again. So is Chase Saphire then the way to go when it comes to getting a CC? Any other good ones worth considering?
Haha y'all could have ran with me at least for a little bit..
Op you can technically use your CSR or CSP instead of the classic, boring Amex at PWC as well. It's not actually advertised and you will have to send in all receipts if you do that. I have a colleague who does it and just sets aside an hour or something every other Friday to email in all the receipts. Depends on your preference of how much time you want to spend in order to get the points.
