Blank page requirement in Passport

I have multiple blank pages in my Passport but they are all interspersed, i.e. no two consecutive pages are blank. Does that matter for new visa stampings? My understanding is that Schengen countries require 2 consecutive blank pages. Can someone confirm please whether I need a renewal? Thank you

Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry? I am a US citizen, Employed in US on a 6 month contract with Capgemini. Planning to travel to Canada and work from there for the entire 6 months.
