How hard is the path from lit to GC?
Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

I am getting a Analyst designation at delloite for a 1.7 years experience of it experience.
Should I try to get the consultant designation as the salary range will also open a bit as they r giving me 9.5. Should I just wait a few more months to get 2 years experience and apply the consultant position.

What do you want? If it’s money through hard work go become a lawyer or an Ibanker. Everything starts from the answer to “what do you want”.
This sounds like the start of every one of the pitches I’ve done or sat in...McK1 I don’t think OP can afford your fees.
Decide what you want to do first. This is HARD! I am 42 and am just now getting clarity... (btw I have an MBA and lots of post MBA education + certifications)

Studying and networking for the next few months, then applying may be the most efficient use of your time. Lots of firms right now are taking applications but not hiring. But, it looks like things are ramping up and will likely continue to do so unless we get crushed by a massive second wave. I’d say study and see what happens with COVID over the next few months to assess the job market
Pretty confident a second massive wave is going to hit us.
Studying then applying imo. GMAT score good for 5yrs. So if you get that out of the way, you can spend the next couple of years on rest of your app.
