Hi everyone,
I have joined Tech M recently, I got hired via a subsidiary called Zen3. Is there any difference or challenges I would face since they should be the same company as per my knowledge. Also the onsite opportunity would be less here? Please give your thoughts.. Thanks 🙏 Tech Mahindra

We have an au pair in NYC for our 2 kids. She works 45 hours/week. Between the agency fee and her salary it’s about $1500/month plus her food. We also pay for her plane tickets home twice a year and give her other gifts/bonuses but that stuff isn’t mandatory.
do you mind my asking where you live? I have 2 kids and would love the flexibility of an au pair - but accommodating one in the city (extra bedroom etc) is a barrier.
How do you Americans do it I have no idea! Most of the European countries have free child care! Even if you need to pay the highest fee, it’s (avarage) around 500/600 euros per month. And the more kids you have the more money you get from the Government (regardless of your income). 😱 you are heroes!
I’m not joking- I just looked it up. In Germany, for example, military spending was 1.2% GDP in 2018. In the US, 3.2%. 2% may not sound like a lot, but it’s hundreds of billions of dollars difference. That could pay for all the social programs you speak of, and then some, if we slashed military spending to 1.2%.
$2300 - NYC toddler full time daycare
Mind saying where? In-home or daycare center?
Bay Area: Aftercare for my 7 year old $375/month for 5 days a week of after school. When my kids were in full time preschool (from 18 months-4.5 years) we paid $2200/month+. Luckily they are staggered so one was entering public school when the second was entering preschool. That helped.
One toddler - a little under $1k per month in Dallas for daycare.
NYC - nearly $4k a month for nanny for 3yo, plus another ~$15k year for part time pre school. ugh
Northern NJ $1650/m for a 4 y/o at a daycare center
My school aged kid gets before and aftercare through the YMCA for $500/month
NYC (BK) - $2800 for Montessori for my 2 year old
Mpls - $1k + $1.6k = $2.6k/mo
Chicago - $1950 for a 2.5 y/o in daycare facility. Was $2350 when she was younger.
London people - bump. Would love to know.
Boston with a nanny for 1 child. ~ $3000/mo. She makes all his meals, and helping us do housework like laundry, dishes...etc.
$2100, NYC, daycare, 1 child
1 baby <1year. When I was in Los Angeles- $2200 per month, now I’m in London - £1400 per month. It’s actually a bit more in London when you take everything else into account (salary, rent)
