Company I'm interviewing for is asking me to respond to a creative challenge as part of the interview process.

They're requesting platform ideas with responses in the ATL, digital, and content spaces. I find this quite odd given they approached me first rather than the other way around, and to ask for a creative task at the senior leadership level is strange to me.

How should I approach this? Say no? Spend no more than 1-2 hours on the task for a topline response and send with an NDA?

Are there any fundamental differences between a salary negotiation during the start (applying for the job) vs. Salary negotiation during a performance review (you’ve been employed for x time and looking for a raise). I’m in the latter and wondering if there are any maneuvers that are different I should be doing.

Tier 2 to MBB fish... How has recruiting for other jobs compare at the two firms?

Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?

Any tips on how to deal with this…my entire team was let go today (was 5, now just me). We functioned as the Marketing team for 4 brands and primarily focused on product launches and sustaining social media content.
