Moving to the city finally (vs commuting from CT) any f fish in their 20s or 30s looking to make new friends??

Someone from PwC asked “People in their 30s, any advice for people in their 20s” (paraphrasing). Same question but advice for people in their 20s who grew up poor (no not middle class either). People who had no financial backing and no choice but to take on debt. When living with mom/dad isn’t an option after school. First to graduate college in their family. Just felt like a lot of people answering in that thread don’t relate.

I’m what you’d call the “good kid” I always got to see the bad kids get away with stuff my whole life and I thought having a moral compass would pay off but a lot of times I feel jerks move ahead....

How to politely tell my partner stop spending too much time on playing video games? It was my false at first. I introduced Zelda breathe of the wild to her and now, she is hooked. She even played game when we had the movie night. I chose the her movie style but she let me to watch it alone and silently turned on the game, and played it while pretended to watch the movie with me. That’s not fun at all. What should I do? Has anyone dealt with coming to terms with an emotionally abusive relationship? I struggle to admit this (because more drastic examples come to mind), but my therapist mentioned that things like yelling/throwing things/blocking me from leaving the room are also abusive traits my ex demonstrated. I was informed today by the management in a pay review that salary is based on performance + experience. They confirmed that though I (7 YOE) outperform the seniors (20+ YOE) and also achieved a higher Annual Review score, it will not be possible for me to bridge the current 15% pay gap. We will all be getting 2%.
