Comparing a manager role at Huron healthcare sector and a director role at EYP deal management healthcare sector. I am currently at Huron and I like the WLB/culture here so far.

1. Pay/total package: EYP>Huron (about 50 more in base pay)
2. WLB/culture?
3. Travel? Most projects I have experienced at Huron is about 25% travel, but it varies
4. Future development/name recognition?
5. Anything else I should consider?

With everyone seeming to be “hiring” I’ve had job interviews with various firms: EY, Plante Moran, Doren Mayhew, Rehmann, to name a few..
Apparently I just suck at interviewing, or the firms in my area are not hiring. 🤦

So, I’m interviewing for a position that fits perfectly, HR likes my profile, had great conversations with them. Today I had a Panel interview with HR and the hiring manager. The manager is not experienced, it’s her first r manager role and she’s been in it for 3 months. I was prepared but was out of breath the entire interview, had a knot in my throat, had trouble finding my words. It’s like I had PTSD when this manager came into the picture. Ever had that?
