The idea of a CEO sign off for every hire is absurd. The CEO has better things to be doing than approving the hiring of a secretary - and the CEO has no idea what the actual need of the team is, etc.

This is so weird and not the flex they think it is. So many questions about this entire thing called talent density. What is even that? Imagine building a team around the thoughts/preferences of just two people. It is ridiculous but I guess we’ll see how it pans out in the end.
Based on this article, talent density, coined by the founder of Netflix, is the ratio of high-performing employees to the total number of employees. Sounds like code word for groupthink.
