Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

I will say that the experience above of never having worked over 55 hours in busy season isn’t the norm in every office. I’ve had weeks where I’ve worked 70-100 hours.
I agree it’s probably an office thing. And maybe service line
GT work life balance is way better. No question. I personally haven’t worked more than 55 hours a week during busy season. :) let me know if you want a referral
GT1 are those annual hours met by everyone?
At Crowe, we have annual charge hours we must meet, but I didn’t meet them my first two years or three. I see that many actually don’t.
I have been at GT for 6 months after being at Deloitte for 2.5 years. I am already scheduling interviews to leave. The main reason is that there is a lot less support and resources. Same amount of work (if not more), but less people to do the work.
Just curious why are you thinking of leaving Deloitte?
I’m ex deloitte as well and am very happy with the change. I do think it depends on the group and the office though. I know there are many on here that have had bad experiences. If you do me the office I can let you know if I know anything about that group.
