Considering switching from Deloitte to PwC or GT. I interviewed for a similar team to my current one. The team at both PwC and GT is smaller than Deloitte. I have been working at Deloitte for 1.5 years. Has anyone left Deloitte for other Big4 or GT? How was your experience? Or people working at PwC or GT, how do you feel about your team/ opportunities to learn/ work life balance? Does it look bad to leave Big4 before completing 2-3 years?

27 y/o manager and having what feels like a quarter life crisis. The consulting grind feels unsustainable for me long term, but I don’t know what else I would even want to do. Problem is that I have a great WLB (probably actually working <30 hours/week) and making decent money - feels like it would be silly to leave, but the monotony of dealing with idiots on a daily basis is taking a mental toll. Do i really need to be in the office? I’m in more of specialty group and considered to be a regional resource, only have a couple local engagements and likely won’t get more than that because there is not a lot of work for what i do around here. The leadership has been hinting at wanting everyone to be in the office at least a couple days. I’m okay going in when I’m working on local projects but when I’m not and all of my team is out of state what’s the point?
