Should I Go Back and Reneg? Recently I was offered a role as a Project Implementation Manager (In Retirement Services) .The salary range for Colorado residents was 65-89K. I’m located in NY so the recruiter said he would try to get me more. Ultimately he came back at 90K which is a bit inline with that I was seeing on Glassdoor but approx looks like I may leave 10-12K on the table. I have a “commitment to an offer” at 150-170k from a BB. They said they can’t give me the offer until Feb/March until they ramp up their current hires and figure out their budget, but the HM said the best thing I can do is to get another offer to use as leverage.

I’m about to receive an offer from a different company at 100-115k. Would much rather work at the BB (better company/position). Is it even worth me bringing this offer to use as leverage, or is the salary discrepancy too much?

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
