McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

Yeah, Delta is super reliable. Getting to client site yesterday was delightful.
Go with Delta. Significantly better in terms of in flight experience.
^ probably not since it's so hard to get
Where do you live? That can be a bigger factor.
What do you want out of your travel? Upgrades/comfort while traveling? Or miles/status that will benefit you in your personal travel?
Upgrades and comfort. I don't do a ton of personal travel- maybe one big trip every 1-2 years and then random flights home to see family which are usually inexpensive
What does FB recommend for best benefits to use for personal travel?
UA. *Alliance is the best alliance by far, especially for Asia. Plus, even though redemptions were recently nerfed, UA is the only of the legacy carriers to have some semblance of open jaws and stopovers on international redemptions.
That said, if your primary goal is premium redemptions, fly AA/VX/AS and credit to Alaska. Phenomenal redemption rates on JAL and Cathay for business/first
Plus AS allows for stopovers even on one way travel. Very lucrative.
D2 but biggest caveat is upgrades only on Alaska metal (maybe VX now/soon?). Home airport is a huge factor too
ConciergeKey is so worth it though
Delta is really hard to get upgraded on. I'm diamond and almost never happens.
D3 Pretty easy when not flying to/from hubs. I had a higher success rate as a Delta silver than a UA Plat
Are you over a 3 hour flight?
No
