Pwc law began the process of my H1 transfer and mentioned it takes 7-8 weeks to just process an H1B application. Can anyone else who has been in a similar position talk about their experience? 7-8 weeks seems quite long for and I would love to join sooner.

Is there a way to expedite? Mailed recruiter and they mentioned that joining date can be changed based on h1 progress but didn't say anything about expediting
