Pro tip: If they fly you in for a visit, make sure to tell everyone at HQ you’re excited to be in “San Fran.”
Yeah, CW1 is right. Calling it Frisco is an acceptable alternate. Use it, A LOT.
it’s a spectacular place to work, with the most talented people in the world. people are super respectful and kind, but at the same time, everyone expects the best out of you. it will make you rise to the occasion.
Frisco has hella work life balance. Tons of time to thrash dank hills on your long board.
I live in the bay area and still say hella...
CommDirector1 is proving to be awesome at know what jokes are.
Any intel / thoughts on work/life balance ?
No one who lives in NorCal, San Francisco or Silicon Valley ever use the term Frisco. Hella hasn’t been used since the early 2000s. If you need to call it anything say the peninsula (the area between Apple and SF) or the “city.” Just don’t ever use the work hella. And yes, grew up there and lived there for years
It seems great so far for me. The bus culture is weird in a fantastic way. Everyone leaves by like 430 everyday. Folks are smart, nice, and focused. And ignore these comments about SF “rules.” It’s the least rule-ridden city I’ve ever lived in.
Orgies. LOTS of Silicon Valley orgies
Beats the culture in the Big Apple or Chi-Town.
@strategydirector does it? How do?
How *so*?
