Any great personal finance/investment books to read? Or even YouTubers/Podcasters

Really looking into expanding my investment horizons — particularly about learning about how to allocate my investment portfolio. Also, always nice to learn about better ways to save and cutback.

If you had to guess when oncycle will be, what would you say? I’ve heard funds were disappointed by participation rates and quality last time, so I’m curious to see if they can show enough discipline to wait this year.

CSR or Delta Reserve? SO is military so the fees are waived. He already has the Amex Platinum and I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred.

My monthly salary is around $6.4k after-tax. Living in NYC. Do you think it’s reasonable that I pay:
- about $1.5k on rent
- about $500 on utilities and subscriptions
- about $900 on student loan
- about $2k on food and etc.
My saving goals is around $3k so been trying to adjust my monthly spending.

I got promoted and finally make 150K which was my dream salary (I know it's not high by NY standards, but I come from a lower income household so I am grateful to be earning this). I've always lived with a roommate and I was going to find my own place once I hit that mark.. but I find myself so scared of spending 2K+ on rent alone. I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.
