Curious on everyone’s experience with breaking into PM? How are you communicating experience. I’ve been on the design side conducting product discovery for multiple 0 to 1 products, managed design teams and worked cross functionally. However when translating that experience to PM applications I’m getting nothing or stating my experience is not enough. When I do get the chance to speak about my experience through mentors and networking I keep being told I should apply for senior roles.

Newish to data analytics. Have some experience in power BI, sql, and R. I wanted to get some exposure to aws and saw the AWS cloud practitioner as an available course at my job. Is this cert worth it? Or should I try one of the more advanced ones ? The data analytics one for example but wasn’t sure if it would be difficult to get through as a beginner. Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons. Don’t want to drive 700 miles per week M-F. What will dual model be like going forward? 1-2 times week, 4-5 month? Seems like tax was more flexible than audit pre-Covid

Is it better to quit or get laid off? I know what to look for when being pushed out and with a combination of the work I don’t have and the work the firm seemingly doesn’t have, it just feels like a mess. I’ll note I have other job offers lined up because I felt uneasy here for a bit.

PWC offered 23+2JB+2(assuming bonus at 10%) for 5yoe. And I'm getting 27-28 from other service based companies. However I'm confused if I should go higher fixed ctc or brand name, ie PWC. Thoughts?

FDD/TAS Senior > Restructuring (Rx) analyst or associate (FAS/Banking) - Has anyone seen it done before? Would starting from Valuation instead of FDD be a better stepping stone to Rx banking. Also, I would imagine the best Rx banking exit would be to HL. Is FTI Rx (FAS) considered better than EY-P Restructuring consulting? How about compared to AM Rx (FAS). Thanks for any input!

The methodologies and processes are quite similar between physical and digital design so i feel i should not start from a junior position, however my portfolio contains only physical.
