Our entry level underwriting position requires a bachelors degree or 8 years of relevant experience pays between
$19-$25 hourly. Expectations should be low when you’re hiring talent at this pay range. A great deal of education, training, and patience go into these hires. It will take years to grow them into valuable teammates. You get what you pay for!
depends on the company and prerequisites i.e. degree, experience etc. I started at 30k 10 years ago and worked my way up to 60k. however the department I ended with was hiring people off the street with no insurance experience at 60k. Guess its just a matter of finding the right position at the right time. I am NOT having luck finding anything right now more than 40ish because over 60k is asking for way more experience that I have, or AI is kicking my resume out...
Location is also a factor
