Are there any good powerpoint courses one can take to become better at it? I am an experienced hire and struggle to make slides like homegrown Deloitte folks.

Advice needed!! Have 8+ years of compliance/legal/in house experience (not privacy law except HIPAA). I really want a Privacy Counsel role so I took and passed the CIPP/US and CIPM exams this past year. I’ve been offered an Associate Director job at PwC. Is this a good stepping stone to a Privacy Counsel role? How long should I expect to work at PwC before I could apply to Privacy Counsel roles??

How does one most effectively make the transition into management from an Individual Contributor?

I've been an individual contributor for 4 years in Tech, have 8 years of experience total. I'm finding it difficult to make the management transition despite having management experience, performing beyond expectations, and having a genuine passion for enablement and development.

Have you ever taken a career slow down? I am feeling burnt out from COVID and the incremental responsibilities thrown my way over the last 5+ years. I feel like my health has deteriorated. I like my company, but I want to do less. I don’t need to be a HR Director, CHRO, etc. With a career slowdown, I am prepared for a lower compensation and would want decent benefits. hi guys! i wanted to ask for advice if anyone can help. currently i’m a scientist at a CRO and i’m doing work that is at least a title or two above mine. feels like im overworked and underpaid. i keep getting rejected to positions i feel like i can fill due to my years of experience. i technically only have been working since may 2020. but i have learned so much so quickly, im already doing method development/discovery work. should i settle for a job title below my current in pharma?
