You are overpaid. I think it's unlikely to get 180k at 3 YOE without an MBA
Agreed 180 does sound high looking at the typical starting salaries out of an MBA which is why I’m leery to put that number out there, but 170 definitely looks to be the right range for 3 YOE at some of these companies (as a commentator mentions above).

I think 180k TC is probably reasonable. As long as your experiences and role expectation matches the compensation. I’m at around 190k at 3 YOE.

It sounds high, but I'm not familiar with your role. But why are you asking for a base increase if your firm is offering that same amount of bonus. I don't understand. Shouldn't you just ask for an additional $15k signing bonus?
That’s a fair and good point - might be more palatable and reasonable to ask for a signing bonus rather than TC increase since it’s a one time payment. Just want to avoid a situation where I price myself out to the recruiters and lose the opportunity while also getting the most I can.

If you joined EYP as senior, you get 170k. It is standardized across bands so you can't really negotiate much.
Not sure about other firms.

If one of your T2s is OW, it might be impossible to get that unless you’re interviewing for high Associate / EM position
If you coming to Strategy&, you're probably gonna come-in at pre-MBA level. Which would be 120-170TC depending on what cohort they place you.
