Currently in Risk Assurance but have the
opportunity to go to another big 4 to be in their
strategy service line. I love KPMG, I love my
team, and I love my work. I'm on track for
promotion to manager and know a ton of
important people in my network. Obviously
strategy is a more lucrative job. Am I dumb to
turn it down to stay in Risk at KPMG?

Unless you have a competing offer, then you gotta make the jump

What’s with the formatting ? Plz fix

Honestly idk what’s going on here.. I’m also annoyed

Woah..just consider yourself lucky. Make the jump. You can always come back

That's a nice, career-defining move. I would definitely take it

I would do what you love. I don't think it is dumb to stay with a good team and work you like If you do go my experience is at takes at least six months with a new team to feel comfortable. Good luck

I can get 300+ maybe up to 400-450k TC in FAANG but not liking technical stuff anymore.

I still believe i work at a good place but i feel like we’re losing focus. I feel my boss is leaving soon. It’s a mess.

My remit quadrupled+ in a recent re-org with no increase in pay/promotion, my new director is new to the company and was zero help, and I was passed over for recent promotion during the comp cycle. The new director essentially began shutting me down any time I ask for clarity in my career progression. Hi..

I've been approached for a Manager - Technical Consulting position at Salesforce India.

How are the technical rounds on a quotient of 1-10(1 being very less and 10 being extremely technical)?
Should I prepare for something specifically?

And what is the current package provided by Salesforce for the same position?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.
