EY
If you choose EY you’ll be entering a tool-agnostic environment. By choosing SNow you’ll pigeonhole to that tool, BUT you’ll be a better SME.
Which do you want, the flexibility in your career or the SME?
Personally flexibility, it’ll give me other opportunities later on as well. Atleast that’s what I think
If you’re trying to evaluate based on longterm outcomes (a great idea), you should give info & thoughts you have for each role on that quality, not starting comp
My cousin did tech advisory at EY and his WLB was great. I’d double check that assumption
If you’re not sure what your longterm goal is yet then a broader first role (EY) will naturally give you more options moving forward
Tech consulting will set you up for an exit and give you options to explore different tech you wanna specialize in.
while service now is strictly their own software BUT Presales experience is pretty big especially in tech and can get you a lot of money in the long run if u can land a Presales role in big tech
A) what's your city
B) from experience industry salaries are stagnant while EY will offer you 5%-20% yoy increase
