Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

Well it’s probably federal because I’m pretty sure BAH only does Federal work. You said senior position though-do you mean you’re exec level? Might need more info on your background to even give a ballpark.
Yes will do, I’ve been asking around. Thanks for the help!
Chief
I can't speak to BAH commercial at all (when I left in 2017, commercial was about ~10% of BAH, the rest was federal), but am pretty familiar with the federal side.
The federal SC pay band at BAH goes up to ~$100k or so unless you're in cyber, then I think it goes up to $115k or so.
That said, where you fall on the pay scale is heavily contingent on your admin chain, whether it's a funded position or a capability hire, the client (if applicable), and what kind of work the contract you're on is doing (if applicable).
If you're a capability hire or being hired for a staff aug contract, could be as low as ~$70-75k. If you're hired for a non-staff aug project, I'd expect somewhere in the $80-90k range. If you're hired in cyber, then I'd expect $95-105k.
I see, the position is in cyber so hopefully it’s on the higher end of the scale. Thanks for the help!
