Currently working a credit analyst in small business banking, feeling that I’m being under paid 3+ years in the industry with my last promotion I still do most of the old role responsibilities in addition to the new role responsibilities, brought it up with my direct manger “Your working some of your old responsibilities with the new pay rate” I see it that I have more than one role to perform now and I’m not even making median pay. Any advice?

For anyone who receives a quarterly bonus or raise in some form, does your employer start to schedule you for less hours when your raise kicks in, or pull you from a future schedule entirely once you receive a bonus; only to put you back on once the hours you would have worked and earned the amount given are passed? Ie; a part time employee getting $200.00 in a quarterly bonus and then not being scheduled a whole week during a bi-weekly pay period where they would have earned more on the clock…?

Ex-boss, now external, offered me a role. Offer is not “official” but it’s a serious offer. Was asked to consider joining so I can go through the HR/recruiting process of a formal offer. While I would leave to work for them, I’d prefer to stay if I was offered the same money at current firm. Should I or can I talk to my current manager about a raise while mentioning this unofficial offer?
